Waiting Families

Hi, we’re Tara and Scott and thanks for taking a look at our little summary.  We’d like to share a few random facts about us.

10 Facts about Tara and Scott:

1. Both of us are engineers and have fun and challenging careers.  We’re not sure but this may be where the list-making comes in

2. Both sets of our parents live near us and they are all excited to welcome a grandchild into the family.

3.  We like to travel and take road trips.  Recently we road tripped around southwestern Colorado visiting the Great Sand Dunes (one of Tara’s favorite places), Durango and Telluride.  We were able to visit France a few years ago and had a blast exploring Paris and visiting friends near Geneva.

4.  We have a dog that loves to play ball and go on walks.  She is great with our niece and nephew (even when our nephew uses her as a hurdle).

5. Scott loves to mountain bike and ski.  He’s pretty sad during mud season, but that’s when Tara can count on him to complete projects around the house.

6.  Tara teaches Jazzercise, loves to ski and read all kinds of different books.  Scott can’t help but chuckle when she breaks into a Jazzercise routine to songs playing on the radio.

7.  We live in a fantastic old neighborhood in Denver walking distance to two parks and we are so happy that we were able to move here. 

8.  Growing up Tara was a ballet dancer, played the flute, and was an overachiever all the while trying to avoid getting tackled by her three younger brothers.

9.  Scott was a lifeguard and taught swimming lessons to children of all ages.  He has always been a protective older brother to his sister.
