Waiting Families

Hi – We’re Holly and Charles.  Thank you for taking a moment to read about us.

We started dating in 1995 and got married in June 2000.  We have been together for 15 years. 

We have both decided to make career changes.  Charles has just recently received his teaching certificate and is getting his master’s degree while working in a management position he has held for 10 years.  Holly has a home daycare.  We both love children and can’t wait to start a family. 

Family is important to us and we spend birthdays and holidays with them and visit the families outside of Colorado whenever possible.  Holly has family in Florida and Colorado – including 1 niece and 2 nephews.  Charles also has family in Colorado as well as New Hampshire, Maine and New Jersey.  All are very supportive and cannot wait to welcome a new baby into the family.

We have 2 cats and a Keeshond that is wonderful with children. 

We enjoy traveling, hiking, and going to the theater and sporting events.  We love to have fun, enjoy life, and laugh A LOT.

Holly grew up taking dance, piano and clarinet lessons.  Recently she has taken up tap again and loves it.  She is teaching herself to play the guitar.  She also enjoys scrapbooking and baking and decorating cakes.

Charles grew up playing sports and reading – which is good since he plans to be an English teacher.  He also took piano lessons until his piano teacher told him he should play street hockey instead.  He loves to go fishing and to go to the mountains for drives or hikes.

We love to try new things and can’t wait to share this with a child.
